For more than three decades, Dr. Murray has been a thought leader, author and expert in the fields of nutrition, dietary supplements and natural products. He graduated from Bastyr University, where he served on the board of trustees and received a doctorate in naturopathy. More than 30 books have been published, including the best-selling book "Encyclopedia of Natural Medicine", which has now been published in its fifth edition and has been used by over 100000 healthcare professionals.
Doctor of biochemistry
Dr. Richard A. Paswat is Funuva's scientific advisor and the author of more than 45 books and 500 articles on nutrition. Dr. Passwater has been a science editor and column writer for WholeFoods magazine since 1984. The 1975 book Overnutrition: The Super Vitamin Revolution was an early popular book on vitamin therapy. High-dose selenium supplements (200µg/ day) are also advocated to reduce cancer risk.
Internal medicine Specialist/nutritionist
Dr. Matthias Pirlich is Funuva's Scientific Advisor and has been working on the front line of medicine as an endocrinologist, gastroenterologist and nutritionist. In 2010 he was appointed Adjunct Professor at the Faculty of Medicine of the Charite University of Berlin, General Secretary of the European Society of Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism from 2016 to 2020, and President of the German Society of Nutritional Medicine (DGEM) from 2022.
